Anniversary and birthday fun!

So this is what I woke up to Monday on our anniversary! Yes folks that really is snow! Cold, white, yucky since it's suppose to be spring, SNOW! Thank goodness it was gone by mid morning. We had a good anniversary. We went to dinner at Applebee's and the salad I got I ended up not liking. It had too much lemon juice om it or some reason and the shrimp wasn't tasting good either. Luke grabbed the manager while I was in the ladies room and they comped my meal and the one that I got to replace the salad. Then we came home and watched a movie.






















My birthday! Yeah!! I woke up with a migraine but took meds and went back to sleep while Luke got kids off to school and took care of little ones. Woke up when my phone alarm went off, to go to lunch with my friend, at one of my favorite places, Won Won Wok. YUMM!!! Sushi!
I came home and played with kiddos for a while, while Luke went to store to get my birthday cake, and brought me home Mums to plant later too! He came home and gave me my flowers and showed me the cake. He was so proud of it. He had them write "Happy Birthday Melly" on it for me and everything. I was still a little tired because of the migraine and meds, so he said, "Then go lay back down, it's your birthday."

I read for a little and then slept for 2 hours. I was really tired. I felt much better and no migraine!
Then he took me to dinner. We left the kids home and went to Texas Road House. YUM!! It was yummy and we even had some entertainment. The table busers were lighting fast when it came to clearing off the tables. There were a couple of big groups and when they left we watched the busers go to work. And they were fast!! It was fun to count, with the table next to us and watch how fast they could go. LOL

Then we went to Best Buy and bought my Mother's day/Birthday present. A dyson vacuum! And yes I did ask for it! I even did the research to find the one I wanted. I love a great deal. I love trying to get the best price for what I want. So the best part? It was on sale!! : ) We had looked just after Mother's day but last night it was on sale for $100 less! WHOO!
We came home and had yummy cake. The flower candle was kind of fun. You light in the middle and it does this fireworks thing and it lights the candles on the pedals, which open up, and it plays happy birthday song. We ate some cake and then it was time to open my present!

















We all took turns playing with it after we got it together. Which was not a lot of work. (My chessy face!)

The kids were fighting over who got to vacuum next. LOL Lars this morning wanted to and was fighting with Torben over it. Ahhh To have kids fight over who is going to clean. Maybe I will use it as a reward if they ar the first to finish their other chores. LOL
