Science Project done!!!
After having to redo experiment and pictures, and the tri-fold itself..... It's done!! Now to see if "she" gets an A!!
Really she did do the work. She came up with the idea. "What will happen when baking powder is mixed with different liquids?" Researched and planned things out.
She wanted to know what would happen when it was mixed with water, soap (which we turned to soapy water) salt water and milk. Her hypothesis was : water - nothing, salt water - change color (I have no idea where she thought that one up) soapy water - heat up (again no idea and originally it was just soap) and milk - nothing.
After she tried the water and then the salt water, we talked and I asked her if she thought it would make a difference if the water was hot or cold. She thought that was a good idea to try. She said she had noticed the salt water one the water seemed to get colder. I don't know if that was a true observation but she thought it was. We did not test temperature, and we are not doing it again tonight so that will have to wait to be verified at a later date.
It was fun to do it with her. Although next time I will keep the date in mind a little better (I keep saying this on projects that Tanner and her have had. - roll the eyes) and work on it a little sooner so that we are not scrabbling the night before to get it done. In my defence I did try to get it done earlier but she didn't quite listen on a few things so they were having to be done again, and ... again. LOL
We just had to redo a bunch so you could see the pictures (first ones the lighting was bad) which this turned out good since she needed to do the experiment more than once to help with verification. And do more typing. And do a chart. Then make sure it was put on nice with the pictures and all.
And it is finally done! Now to wait for the grade...
